Application for Associate Membership
Associate Membership with the Florida Cable Telecommunications Association carries many benefits.
One benefit that Associates receive is a copy of the FCTA Annual Directory & Desk Guide. This directory
includes information about each of our member cable telecommunications companies, such as the names of
managerial personnel, mailing addresses and phone numbers. A second benefit Associate members receive
is a discount on the FCTA's annual meeting registration fee. Every year the FCTA hosts a widely-attended
annual meeting at a luxury resort in Florida.
Another benefit Associate Members receive is representation on the Board of Directors. This year's Associate
representative is Brandi Bilyeu, with College Sports TV.
She can be contacted at the following:
Brandi Bilyeu
College Sports TV
1602 Orangewood Avenue
Orlando, FL 32806
Phone: (407) 897-4603
Email: bbilyeu@cstv.com
To join, please print the Associate Membership application, fill it out
in full and return it either by mail to FCTA, 246 E. 6th Avenue,
Tallahassee, Florida, 32303, or fax it to (850) 681-9676. Associate Member fees are $200.00
per year, $50.00 of which goes into the "Annual Meeting Activity Fund." The activity fund fee is assessed at
the request of the Associates in order to help defray the cost of the Associates Reception, which takes place at
the FCTA's annual meeting. After the completed application form is received, it will be submitted for FCTA
Board of Directors' approval at the next quarterly Board meeting. Upon approval by the Board, an invoice will
be sent and payment will be due. Membership dues will be billed in January of each subsequent year.
The Florida Cable Telecommunications Association's primary function is to protect the business interests of
the state's cable television industry and its subscribers by monitoring legislative activities both in
Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. The FCTA also monitors regulatory matters relating to the cable industry
as these matters arise before the Florida Public Service Commission. Associate Members receive timely updates
on FCTA activities concerning the cable TV industry through our newsletter, The Signal.
Associate Membership with the Florida Cable Telecommunications Association provides many different services.
We know that you will find our Association to be an invaluable source of information for your organization and
our staff is always ready to be of assistance. We hope that you will consider your membership to be a wise
investment, and look forward to processing your completed application. If you have any questions, please call
